The word "Twigs" is a slang for skis, commonly used in North American ski culture. When watching ski movies, you often see the riders in different environments around the world, which are to me, always distinguishable by their trees. Be it the tall narrow pine trees towering over the champagne powder in western Canada, or the crisp deciduous trees in Japan, the vegetation always gives you a hint of where you are in the world.
This is a fictional magazine about skiing that I created, inspired by the nature it takes place in. I found the word "twigs" to be a nice duality connecting the two themes.
